Hola chicas! February is already over and we’re almost in the middle of March, can you believe it?? Summer is getting closer and closer, yay!! I hope you had a great month, mine was pretty awesome! Lots of new products in February, which is really exciting. I’ve also used up quite a few products and I’ve gathered many empties, so I think I need to do an empties post soon! Or maybe a video? Anyway, let’s get on with the favorites. If I’ve swatched/reviewed any of the items, I will post the corresponding link to each item.
Nature’s Way EfaGold Coconut Oil : Still loving this as a pre-shampoo hair mask followed by the Kerastase Kristalliste Conditioner, super soft hair!
Les Lys Nail Polish Remover : I bought this after Ioanna recommended it to me and I’m really pleased! It removed some Essence glitter nail polish pretty easily without having to rub for 20 minutes and to spend tons of nail polish remover and cotton pads, like I did with my previous one.
Kerastase Elixir K Ultime for Dyed Hair : I’ve had this for months, but I started using it in February and I love it, I’m still loving it of course! It smells amazing, although the scent doesn’t last unfortunately, it doesn’t weigh my hair down and it leaves my hair super soft.
Garnier Fructis Miraculous Oil : I was given this at a recent Garnier bloggers event and to be honest I didn’t have high hopes for it, but I was wrong! It’s really lightweight and it contains argan oil, so it’s perfect if you have thin hairs like me, as it doesn’t weigh them down. The scent is nice, although it doesn’t last, which is a bummer, and the product comes in a big bottle with a pump (150ml or 5oz) at a great price (only 8,99Euros in Greece).
Tangle Teezer : Oh my.. you NEED this in your life! No, not because it’s purple and glittery, but because it works wonders at detangling the hair easily and leaving it soft and smooth. Review coming up soon!
The Body Shop Shea Beautifying Oil : I’m not a big fan of the Shea Body Butter scent, but I love how this beautifying oil smells. It’s a dry oil, so it absorbs quickly into the skin without really leaving a residue. You can use it anywhere you want, but I use it on my legs only and it does a great job at moisturizing, plus the scent lingers on my pyjamas and I like that a lot!
Avene Matifying Fluid Moisturizer : This moisturizer has been discontinued unfortunately, this is a backup I bought over a year ago and I opened it in February, because it expires pretty soon, and I must say that I now like it a lot more than I did 2 years ago. Avene very recently came out with a similar product called Matifying Fluid and I definitely want to try it at some point!
Kryolan TV Paint Stick in FS 46 : This month I used different combinations of foundations and bb creams and I wasn’t really pleased with any of them, but I kept on using the tv paint stick as a concealer on spots and redness, because it works great!
Elf Studio Cream Blush in Temptress : I’ve mentioned this in a Favorites post before, it’s great for contouring and it’s really easy to apply!
Elf Studio Cream Blush in Tease : If you’re following me on Instagram, then you propably know that on February 10th I got my hair cut and dyed dark red, so now I need to wear more natural makeup and this is where this Elf blush comes handy! It’s a lovely, natural color that really flatters my skintone and my new haircolor.
Garnier Roll-On Anti-Dark Cirles in Fair : In the Garnier beauty bloggers event that I’ve already mentioned we were also given the new BB Cream Concealer, which comes in a small tube with a metallic roller ball just like the original roll-on. I’ve only tried it twice, but so far I like the original Roll-On a bit more, because it also brightens my under eye area apart from covering my under eye circles. I’ll keep using the BB Cream Concealer though and I’ll let you know how I feel about it soon.
Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder in 120 Classic Ivory : I’m obviously not Classic Ivory, but funny enough this shade works great for me. If you’re looking for a velvety, finely milled powder to set your makeup or to touch-up, then definitely check it out. If you need coverage from your powder, then this one isn’t for you, as it doesn’t provide any coverage, it just mattifies your skin.
Elf Studio Cream Eyeshadow in Dawn : I’m sure you’re sick and tired of seeing this eyeshadow on my blog, but what can I do? I love it and now that my hair is red I love it even more, because it’s easy to wear and it compliments my skintone and my haircolor!
Beauty Line Cosmetics Ultra Volume Black Mascara in Black : wow that’s a huge name lol! In case you didn’t know Beauty Line Cosmetics is a Greek brand and so far I hadn’t tried anything from them, but a couple of months ago I was sent a few things and I decided to try this mascara first over my L’Oreal Telescopic Waterproof Mascara. Telescopic gives length and this gives volume! So far it doesn’t flake on me and it’s affordable (I’m guessing 3-4Euros), so thumbs up!
Erre Due Silky Eye Pencil in 04 (Emerald Green) : I love these eye pencils and I also love green, because I have brown eyes, but now that my hair is red I love green even more, because it compliments both my eyes and my hair. Loveeeee it!!
Essie Nail Polish in Berry Hard : Beautiful color, opaque in 2 coats, not streaky at all! My only problem is that it doesn’t last that long on my toenails, which is a bummer.
Essence Colour & Go Nail Polish in 72 Time For Romance : I looooved this over the Essie nail polish, such a gorgeous combination! You should try it, it’s really sparkly and beautiful!
These were my favorites for the month of February and as you can see I showed you quite a few new products! I’m sure I’ll have more new products to show you in March favorites, I’ve been loving to try new things out lately. Which were your favorites? Have you tried any of the items I showed? Let me know in the comments below :)
