Hey my loves! Today I’m gonna review my favorite sunscreen for the face. It’s called Second Skin Sun Screen with SF30 and the brand is Frezyderm, which in case you didn’t know is a Greek one. I discovered this wonderful product this past summer and if you have oily skin like me I bet you’re gonna love it too!
Let’s start the review with the packaging as always. This sunscreen comes in a fancy plastic packaging that holds 50ml of product. I love the fact that it comes with a pump, pumps are practical and hygienic, and it also locks when you turn it to the left, so that you won't press it by accident if you're carrying it around. One thing I don’t understand about this product is the fact that you can remove the outer part (the clear plastic one), if you can think of anything let me know. I’d also like to add that you can’t see how much product you have left, but that’s not a huge deal. Overall I love the packaging, it’s so fancy and quite expensive looking. Here’s what it looks like :
The actual product is nothing like you’ve seen before when it comes to sunscreens. It’s clear! Yep, you read right… clear. It’s like a primer and it actually contains silicone, so if you’re sensitive to silicone you might want to avoid this. It spreads quite easily and it leaves the skin soft and matte, isn’t that awesome? I’ve used it both on its own and under makeup and it works great either way. It creates a beautiful smooth canvas to apply your foundation on. Just make sure not to use a lot, especially under makeup, because it can get oily if you overdo it. I love this product, because you can wear it quickly and go out without worrying that your face looks like a ghost, as it happens with most sunscreens, and you know what? I don’t always have the time or the desire to wear makeup or at least some bronzer in order to make my face look less white, so this sunscreen is perfect. Here’s what the product looks like on my hand :
Ingredients : Dibutyl Adipate, Octocrylene, Cyclomethicone, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinamate, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Bisabolol, Rosmarinus Officinalis Extraxt, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Naringenin, Ethyl Ferulate, Disodium Uridine Phosphate, Panthenyl Triacetate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Silica Silyate, Parfum, Benzyl Alcohol
Now let’s talk about the price of this wonderful sunscreen. It retails for about 23Euros in Greece and you get 50ml of good quality product in a nice and practical packaging, so I think it’s definitely worth the price. Plus you can always find it online cheaper. I personally bought it from Pharmacy4u for 15,75Euros, but I can’t find it there anymore, if you google it though you’ll find it on other online pharmacies. So, no matter what your skintype is if you’re looking for a good facial sunscreen that won’t leave your skin white, greasy and sticky and if you’re not sensitive to silicone then definitely give this product a try! You can find Frezyderm products at most pharmacies and of course at online pharmacies.
