Here I come with another skincare review for you. This time it's about Avene Matifying Fluid Moisturizer and I will post a review on La Roche Rosay Effaclar M Sebo-Regulating Mattifying Moisturizer in the next few days as promised. I wanted to review the LRP now, but my camera battery is dead and I can't take any pics lol.
We'll start with the packaging as always ! This moisturizer comes in a plain white squeezy tube that's made of plastic and it holds 40ml of product. Since it's made of plastic it's pretty lightweight, but to be honest I'd prefer a glass packaging with a pump. Glass is more hygienic than plastic and pumps are always nice. There are two things I don't like about this packaging : it's white, so you can't see how much you have left in the tube, and because it's a squeezy tube you can't control how much product comes out. Here's what the packaging looks like :
A plain, white packaging. Let's move on to the actual product now. The moisturizer is pretty fluid, but not watery. It's a lightweight cream that feels really nice on the skin, so refreshing and not greasy at all. It doesn't irritate my skin and it doesn't clog my pores. I have oily skin, but when the weather is cold my skin gets dehydrated and it becomes red and flaky, especially around my mouth and on the sides of my nose, so I need a moisturizer that will re-hydrate my skin without making it oily and this Avene moisturizer does the job. All in all it's a really nice product and I don't find anything wrong with it, like I said my only issues with this product are with its packaging . Here's what the product looks like :
This moisturizer retails for about 19Euros and you get 40ml of a really nice product, so the price is quite reasonable. It could be a bit lower or it could have better packaging though. I think if you buy Avene products from Hondos Center (Hondos Center at Omonoia Square definitely has them) they're 10% off, so if you're around there you might wanna take a look! :)
