First Impressions : Rimmel Lasting Finish Mineral Enriched Foundation in 200 Soft Beige

I'm back with another First Impressions and this time it's about Rimmel Lasting Finish Mineral Enriched in 200 Soft Beige! I've used this foundation twice (hence the name of this post) and I like it so far! It leaves a matte finish, but not a flat matte finish like the one the Revlon Colorstay Foundation leaves! I still haven't used a primer with it, but over La Roche Posay Effaclar M Sebo-Regulating Mattifying Moisturizer it lasts pretty well ! It doesn't dry so quickly, so you have time to blend it! I applied it with my fingers, but I think I'll get better results with a brush! :)

I really like Rimmel, they have nice and affordable products!! ;) I'll keep you posted on this foundation, I want to try it with a primer and to apply it in a few different ways before fully reviewing it! My first impressions are really positive though! ;) Oh and the color 200 Soft Beige matches me really well !! ;) Have you tried this foundation? If so what's your favorite way to apply it? ;)

  3. Hi Nadya! :) The coverage is almost like Revlon Colorstay, but keep in mind that I used my fingers to apply it, which means that I got lighter coverage that way. Next time I'll use a flat top brush to apply it (that's what I use to apply Revlon Colorstay) to make a fair comparison between the 2 foundations. As for mattifying, the Revlon one is completely matte, quite flat (which isn't a bad thing for my very oily skin), whereas the Rimmel one is matte, but not too matte. It doesn't look flat like Revlon Colorstay! I like both foundations actually. Full review coming up soon. ;) xxx

  7. It seems like a nice foundation and it doesn't dry fast, so you have time to blend it. :) A full review is coming up soon. ;)
