Look what I've got in the mail today! ;)

About 2 weeks ago I was chatting with NouveauCheap (she has an AWESOME blog btw) on twitter and I asked her what her favorite base coat for peeling nails was! She replied "Orly Bonder hands down!!" ! My nails have been peeling a lot lately, although I take care of them (I don't paint them very often, I use an expensive glass file and I only file them in one direction), so I wanted a really good base coat that will prevent my nails from peeling! Then I asked her about her favorite top coat and she said Sally Hansen Mega Shine Extended Wear Top Coat! So, I got that too! LOL!

I also got my first heated eyelash curler and I'm really excited to see if it works, Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation, which I've been wanting to try for so long, and Revlon Eyeliner Pencil in Navy, just because I love navy eyeliners, they make the whites of my eyes appear whiter and brighter! ;) So, here's a pic of what I got (click on picture for larger view) :

I got some pretty good bargains and I'm really happy! You know I LOVE bargains!!! :) Have you tried any of those products? Did they work for you? Any tricks on how to use them maybe? ;)

I also ordered rimmel lasting finish and I'm still waiting for it to come:(I'm soooo impatient...I want it nowww! I woud like to ask you if soft beige (200) suits well your skintone. I also use Colorstay sand beige (180) and Natural beige (220) so I guess it would be nice to know what to expect:P

  5. @Beth awwww thank you so much, that means a lot to me!! *big smile*

I'm impatient too hehe!!! ;) Well, I'll try it tomorrow and I'll let you know! I have the mineral foundation from Rimmel in the same shade and it's a bit dark for me (a little bit though), but I have no idea if it's the same in the liquid makeup! We'll see! ;)

Follow my blog if you want! :) :*

  6. :) Thank you...well if it's too dark I will probably mix it with a lighter one, just to get a closer shade!!! And most of all, I hope it's as good as they say...awaiting for your first impression on it:D

P.S. I'll try to subscribe...It will be my first one:P

  7. @Beth if it's like the mineral foundation, then it won't be too dark! I wear Sand Beige in Revlon Colorstay in the winter and Sand Beige in Rimmel's mineral foundation is just a little bit darker than my skintone! If you set it with a lighter powder though it shouldn't be a problem! ;)

  12. Hi lovely! Great tips! I also like to put all my nail polishes in the fridge, the man thinks it's weird but it helps speed up the drying process and the no lumps prob you can get.

    Thanks for stopping by!

  18. @Beth oops I forgot to post this, I hope it's not too late! I tried the Rimmel foundation and it's a biiiiit lighter than my skintone, but I'm still tanned right now, so when I go back to my usual skintone it will be a quite good match! :)
