Review & Swatches : Maybelline Pure Blush Mineral Blush (2 shades)

I had never tried a mineral blush from Maybelline before, but they were on sale on ebay a few months ago, so I thought I'd give them a try!

The blush comes in a clear plastic jar that holds 4.5g of product and on the cap there's the name of each shade, which is so convinient, especially if you have many blushes, because you can easily spot the color you want! Here's what the packaging looks like (click on the pics for larger view) :

They look cute huh? When you open them up, you get something like this (several pics following) :

The 2 shades I got are Moonlight Mauve and Quartz Peach! Moonlight Mauve is actually a dusty pink color with mauve-y undertones and Quartz Peach is a beautiful peachy color! Want to see swatches? As always the colors are packed on and unblended :

As you can see both blushes are shimmery (not glittery though) , so if you're looking for something matte these blushes definitely aren't for you! These blushes are quite finely milled and they blend easily! They're also not extremely pigmented, so they're quite easy to work with, but you still have to be careful with them since they're shimmery! You definitely don't want to look like a disco ball ! ;)

I don't know the retail price for these mineral blushes, but I'm sure they're cheap! I think they're about $5-6! Like I said at the beginning of this review I got them off Ebay! :) They're not my favorite blushes ever, but it's nice to have them in my blush collection! Check them out! ;)
