Random Tip of the Day 06.07.2010

So, I came up with the idea of regularly posting random tips about makeup and beauty, just because I LOVE tips!! ;) And I love the fact that I can pass on the tips I've learned over the past years to you girls! :) If you already knew the tip I'm sharing or if you used the tip you learned from me, do let me know! ;)

Got a problem with your pencil eyeliner staying on? Simply set it with a matching powder eyeshadow using a small pencil or eyeliner brush! That way your pencil eyeliner will stay on much longer! ;) It works the same way your face powder sets your foundation! ;)

  1. I do that too because I always use very soft pencil eyeliners and they tend to melt, smudge etc. My problem is this trick doesn't work for my lower lashline. Every time I use eyeliner pencil or eyeshadow or mascara on my lower lashes it will smudge after a while. Is it because I use contact lenses? Does anyone have this problem?
    P.S. 60 Followers, wow! congrats!

  2. @Natalie apply some translucent powder on the under eye area up to the lower lashline! And use waterproof mascara on your lower lashes! I don't wear contact lenses, so I have no idea! But I think that contact lenses wearers have quite watery eyes, correct me if I'm wrong!
P.S. : Thank you soooo much!!! :) I really appreciate all my followers! :) Suggest my blog to your friends if you want! ;)

  3. Watery eyes, so true! Regular eyeliners in my waterline disappear in 15 min (lol!) but since I have small eyes I don't usually use them. Waterproof mascara or eyeliner, yes, that could be a solution but I'll need a very gentle remover because my eyes are sensitive. I think I'll try the e.l.f. duo mascara (haven't buy it yet because I prefer the "plastic" wands), it's so inexpensive.

  4. @Natalie I love Erre Due Silky Eye Pencil and Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner Pencil, they stay really well on my waterline! Have you tried Garnier Clean Sensitive Makeup Remover? It's the duo-phase one, it's gentle, refreshing and it removes everything! :)

  5. I use Garnier Clean Sensitive for eyes, the regular one and it doesn't irritate my eyes. I'll try the two-phase one for sure!
